Muyiwa-Can we know your real names?

Jahbless- My real names are Owoloye olatunde oluwabukunmi..

Muyiwa-Tell us a bit about your educational background

Jahbless-Went to tunyo nursery and primary school , papa ajao mushin , lagos nigeria . junior secondary education , govt college ikorodu , senior secondary education at ansar-ud- deen college , isolo ,from there to the polythecnic ibadan where i did national diploma in mass communication . And higer national diploma in masscommucation .. So i am a professional media person , journalism , broadcasting and advertising ..practise for almost a year as a journalist ,worked at the eko fm news room , lol , but money no dey there ...lol...

Muyiwa-When did you start singing

Jahbless-I started singing from a very tender age , it all started from church , and i play all drums , from samba , to conga ,drum set , talking drums , and all ... But started professionally like 8 years ago.

Muyiwa-Who are the people that inspired you?

Jahbless-Well ...inspiration comes from God almighty ,the alpha and omega , God gave me the talent and he inspires me alot .But musically , bob marley , though i dont sing raggae , sizla kalongee, wyclef jean ,ebenezer obey ,king sunny ade , damian marley ,notorious big and tupac, and many more


Muyiwa-How did you come about the name "Jahbless

Jahbless-Well , Jahbless is actually one of my names , oluwabukunmi ... God bless me ,which equally means jah bless me.. Thats it

Muyiwa-Are you currently signed to a record label?

Jahbless-Yes presently am signed to a south african record label ,which is yes record , and am under the management of edge entertainment

Muyiwa-Whats your relationship with other nigerian artistes?

Jahbless- Most of them are my friends , although some of the new boys are disrespectful sometimes until they check out the profile , but most of the a-list artiste in naija ar my very good friends.

Muyiwa-You used to be 9ice's protege but of recent we are not seeing you together,what happened?

Jahbless-Well 9ice is my very good friend , infact we use to be 5 and 6 , we were both signed under the management of edge records in 2007, so we were best of friends ,label mate and house mate ,we both knew ourselves and our strenght , so when gongon aso came out , i helped him out on his stage performances to give him the buzz he needed , and we achieved it , and at this point , i think he his ripe enough to manage his stage so i had to let him do it , plus i have have got my project too. But we are fine and i dont have any issues wit him (personally0.lol

Muyiwa-Talking about your new song and video joor oo;what brought about the funny lyrics?

Jahbless-jooor oh ! Mio le ride okada from naija to london ...joor oh , lol , well ,to me joor simply means thinking out of the box , lately we ve been hearing a whole lots of songs wit girls , bacardi , henessy , judi , party and at a point i got tired of it , so i needed something different on my album , so the idea came and i developed it , and right now its everywhere in naija.

Jahbless-For now ,'am already working on a new album which will be release by first quarter of next year ,there is a title for it , but its too early to disclose ..

Muyiwa-What message do you have for your fan

Jahbless-Well to all my fans , home and abroad , i say very big thank you to everyone ,to those who dont have my album yet try and get one for yourself , you will enjoy it so much ,its a 14 track album , is title rebirth , have got ,reminisce ,lord of ajasa , bankyw , durella , 9ice ,generally pype , id cabasa , gxploits , steels , sv , on the album , so get one for your self.
